How Subscriptions Work

Subscriptions are automatically renewed according to your selected delivery interval and the products will be automatically delivered by Bare Roots after each successful renewal.

For example, if you started a monthly subscription, then the system will automatically charge your credit card each month and you will get the products to your doorstep each month, without the need to place the order by yourself!

Can I pause or Cancel a Subscription?
Yes, of course. You can pause or cancel a subscription any time you want in the customer portal located at the login page. The only time when the subscription can't be cancelled is if you started a subscription which requires a certain number of payments before you can cancel it, at Bare Roots, this is 3 payment cycles.

The customer portal can be accessed through the magic link you received in the email that was sent to you when you placed an initial subscription order in the shop. You can also access your subscriptions if you create an account in your shop.

How Can I Skip or Reschedule a Charge?
You can skip or reschedule the charge in the customer portal. Each scheduled delivery will have a Skip payment button next to it, which you can use to skip the charge. You can reschedule the charge by clicking on the Reschedule button next to the delivery date.

Can I Add Products to my Subscription?
Of course. You can add products to your subscription in the customer portal. Just click on the Edit button in the products card and edit, remove or add products to your subscription.

Subscription Terms & Conditions

1. General Information
1.1 By subscribing to Bare Roots’ skincare subscription service, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1.2 These terms apply to all subscription products offered by Bare Roots.
1.3 Bare Roots reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.

2. Subscription Details
2.1 The subscription offers the delivery of selected Bare Roots products at regular intervals (e.g., monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly).
2.2 Subscriptions are automatically renewed based on the selected frequency unless canceled by the subscriber.
2.3 Subscribers may choose their preferred products from our subscription range, subject to availability.

3. Pricing & Payments
3.1 Subscription prices are clearly displayed at the time of purchase and may vary based on the subscription plan and products chosen.
3.2 Payment for the subscription will be automatically charged to the payment method provided at the time of checkout.
3.3 All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Shipping fees may apply and will be indicated at checkout.
3.4 Bare Roots reserves the right to change subscription prices. Subscribers will be notified of price changes in advance and will have the option to cancel their subscription.

4. Cancellation & Changes
4.1 Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time through their online account or through contacting customer support. A minimum term of 3 payments must be met before cancellations can occur.
4.2 To avoid being charged for the next delivery, cancellations must be made at least 5 business days before the next scheduled billing date.
4.3 Subscribers can update their product selections, shipping address, or payment details through their online account. Any changes must be made before the next billing cycle.

5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1 Bare Roots ships subscription products to addresses within the country, as well as internationally where supported.
5.2 Delivery times may vary depending on the subscriber’s location. Bare Roots is not responsible for shipping delays caused by third-party carriers.
5.3 Subscribers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Bare Roots will not be liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses.

6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 Due to the nature of skincare products, subscription items are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless they are damaged or defective upon delivery.
6.2 If a product arrives damaged, subscribers must contact Bare Roots customer support within 7 days of receiving the product, along with photo evidence.
6.3 In the case of defective or damaged products, Bare Roots will offer a replacement or a store credit at its discretion.

7. Account Management
7.1 Subscribers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login information.
7.2 Any unauthorised use of a subscriber’s account should be reported immediately. Bare Roots will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised access to an account.

8. Termination
8.1 Bare Roots reserves the right to terminate or suspend any subscription, at its discretion, for violations of these terms or misuse of the subscription service.

9. Privacy
9.1 Bare Roots values the privacy of its subscribers. Personal information collected during the subscription process will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Bare Roots will not share subscriber information with third parties except where necessary for payment processing, shipping, or legal compliance.

10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from the subscription service shall be resolved in accordance with local law.

SUMMARY

You acknowledge and agree that these Terms and Conditions, which include our Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between us concerning your use of or purchases on the Site, and supersede and govern all prior proposals, agreements, or other communications. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the changes on the Site.
