Rarely do we hear much about the Lymphatic system, a little unfortunate as it plays such a huge role in your skin's function and appearance. Working as a skin clinician for many years, I've had the privilege of seeing a vast array of skin conditions.

If you haven’t already established your skin type please read through our ‘what is a skin type’ blog…(trust me it’ll be a big help in getting it right!). We now know that a skin type is something you are born with and cannot change (unless you have undergone some strong meds or extreme hormonal changes).

Time and time again we have heard of skin types as fitting into 5 categories: Oily, Dry, Combination, Sensitive and Normal. It’s what skincare brands talk about on their packaging & marketing and it’s also what has been traditionally taught in the beauty curriculum. It is easy enough to try guess what we fall in to and therefore choose our skin care accordingly; however, we believe really understanding your skin type is the first step in overcoming your skin concerns for good.
